In this experimentation, I have looked at close ups and nature and how I can use focus to change perspective.

I had two sources of interest for this investigation, white tree blossoms and dark/crispy leaves. These two in themselves seem opposing but coupled with an intense focus, this contrast is even more poignant.

I prefer the images with a burred foreground with the heavy focus on a flower in the middle-ground as it creates the illusion that we, the viewers, are amongst the tree with the blossoms. I like the feeling of being surrounded that the image evokes and especially the thought of being engulfed by nature.
